Job Description JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Capabilities and Operational Excellence plays a critical role within the Cobrand Capabilities team, which is responsible for developing and implementing data and technical solutions that drive card‑member acquisition and enhance the customer experience. This position requires close collaboration with Cobrand marketing, bank partners, and internal stakeholders to identify capability needs, align on scope and execution plans, and manage projects from development through launch and ongoing maintenance.
This role oversees day‑to‑day IT and data operations, ensuring seamless information flow and system performance. The Manager is accountable for identifying, investigating, and resolving operational issues, maintaining robust processes, and driving continuous improvement. By analyzing trends and partnering with IT and external stakeholders, the Manager will recommend and implement enhancements that improve operational efficiency and support strategic business goals.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or related professional area
4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
2+ years of project management experience
Preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Excel and analyzing data from multiple sources
Experience tracking day to day IT activities through systems, ie Jira.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Drive execution of day‑to‑day iT operations by working closely with the bank partners, Cobrand marketing teams, and IT partners
Collaborate with cobrand marketing team regarding upcoming initiatives
Own the relationship with Cobrand stakeholders to ensure the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of information flow to enable the best customer / marketing experience for cardmembers
Provide project management of IT operations and data management activities to ensure organization and alignment of required activities by stakeholders
Deliver strategy and thought leadership for iT operations and data management issues and develop and execute action plans to address gaps
Provide continuous process improvement to ensure that Cobrand IT and data activities are meeting key metrics for success
Present updates to leadership on activity successes, issues, and action planning
Primary liaison with Serving team and resolution of customer‑related issues
Timely responses to compliance related concerns that meet bank partners SLAs.
