Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support our bioprocessing equipment manufacturing efforts, with an emphasis on electrical components and cabinet design improvements. This role involves creating and modifying electrical schematics and layouts, performing necessary calculations, and providing technical support to enhance product efficiency and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and optimal system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and update electrical and mechanical cabinets based on specific requirements and standards.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings utilizing CAD software.
- Maintain and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components and systems.
- Conduct electrical simulations and calculations to refine design.
- Research and select electrical components to ensure system performance and compliance, whilst providing technical support to production and service teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and PLC‑based control systems.
- Solid problem‑solving and communication abilities.
Industry Experience
Experience in or understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation preferred. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UL, NEC) is desirable.
