Rhapsody HL7 Administrator & Developer . Local candidates are preferred. Non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense must be able to start the hybrid work schedule with no delays. Candidates will interview via Microsoft Teams video. The work schedule is hybrid, consisting of two days onsite in Lansing, MI and three days remote. There is no option for a fully remote work schedule. A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.

Job Description: This position will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable our client to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services supporting the interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub. The Administrator will work under the direction of our client and across matrix teams to support and complete the tasks necessary for our client’s Enterprise ISA technical team. The resource is integral to supporting and improving our client’s automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the applications. As a team member, the resource participates in a variety of assignments that provides for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects. The resource will also provide application oversight to business analysts and to other teams integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB).

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To: Analyze and provide a solution to the problems/issues in Rhapsody. Code debug and enhancements. Rhapsody maintenance. Support Server Patches, Restart the Rhapsody application. Renew and Install HESB Server certificates. Support application system maintenance. Install application system certificates and resolve any connection issues. Manage error queue and hold queue. Reprocess them as needed. Clear Rhapsody alerts and take necessary actions on the alerts. Produce Latency, Response reports. Generate Monthly Status reports. Code fixes for any production issues. Code migration to production. Rhapsody version upgrades and related testing. Communicating with users and external applications for any issues. Rhapsody memory management and manage the storage.

Required Skill Sets: JavaScript programming SQL XML HL7 version 2.x messaging HL7 FHIR CDA standards and related document types. Health care vocabularies; LONIC, SNOMED, RxNorm Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Implementing solutions based on Implementation Guides.

Desired Skill Sets: Using latest Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x). Using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, and mappers. Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format). Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, and LLP. Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual authorization via certificates.
