Physician Assistant / Surgery - Neurological / Montana / Locums to Perm / Locum

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery for our client in Montana! Job Responsibilities * Provide 100% inpatient floor coverage for neurosurgical patients * Manage post-operative care for spinal and cranial cases * Perform patient assessments and collaborate with the neurosurgery team * Provide care in the MICU, SICU, and ED settings * Coordinate with a team of seven neurosurgeons for ongoing patient management Qualifications * Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) * Extensive experience in neurosurgery, including both spinal and cranial cases * Strong background in post-operative and neurocritical care * Not suitable for primary care NPs or providers without neurosurgical experience Working Hours * 7-on/7-off schedule * Daily hours: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM * No call responsibilities Skills * Proficient in managing ICU-level neurosurgical patients * Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills * Ability to work effectively in high-acuity settings * Excellent communication and teamwork skills All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
