in office at Brooklyn, NY

(11219) with a

two

-day schedule

(10 hours shifts), Mondays ? Fridays.

The

pay range

for the part-time Physician Assistant position is

$70 - $88 per hour.

Summary:

The Physician Assistant responsibilities include assessing the patients? medical history and HPI, addressing patients' concerns regarding the use of telemedicine services and to provide personalized care to each patient.

The ideal Physician Assistant will be detail-oriented and able to communicate with patients effectively through various virtual communication channels.

Physician Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Discussing and reviewing patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications

Asking patients situation-specific questions to make sure they get the care they need

Formulating suitable treatment plans to address non-threatening conditions

Prescribing various diagnostic tests to aid in providing accurate diagnoses

Analyzing diagnostic test results and explaining them to patients

Maintaining accurate records of patient's contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress

Advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health.

Assisting patients in managing chronic health conditions

Recording accurate and timely notes in EMR

Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing all required forms and records before the end of each shift, in alignment with organizational standards and compliance guidelines

Requirements:

Active NY Medicaid and Medicare # (Can start immediately)

EMR experience

Licensed Physician Assistant in NY

Atleast 1 year experience in an urgent care setting or relative experience treating diverse patient population (patients of all ages) in a primary care setting. (Required)

A patient oriented / compassionate disposition

Strong attention to detail

The ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels

Communication: Effectively communicate to clients, colleagues and team members in a professional manner.
