Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for individuals with mental health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications according to best practices and state guidelines. Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Assist with Ketamine and Spravato® treatments as part of our clinic?s integrative offerings (training will be provided) We use IntakeQ as our EHR Qualifications Master?s or Doctorate in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Master?s degree and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience or a Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) Additional requirements: Current licensure to practice in the state of Iowa Experience in psychiatry or mental health settings Interest in or experience with ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) and/or functional medicine is preferred Proficiency in vital signs assessment, BLS, and ACLS a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (we cannot sponsor employment visas) Job Details Job Type: Full-time Expected Hours: 20?40 hours per week Schedule: Primarily in-person, Monday?Friday, 9am?5pm (flexibility to work outside these hours if desired or longer days for a shorter week No on-call or weekends.
