We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while rounding Dermatology patients at Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted-Living facilities. Care will be limited to routine dermatological conditions. The NP/PA will place referrals for more complex dermatological conditions and higher-risk biopsy management to local dermatologists. The NP/PA will perform assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients across various age groups. This role requires a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and wellness strategies. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Adhere to aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification for California. Experience in Dermatology. Strong background in patient care with a focus on quality outcomes. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
