Position: Recruiting Manager at InterMed Cost Containment Services
Position Summary
Lead and scale the company’s talent acquisition function to support a high‑performance, growth‑focused organization. This hands‑on, working manager role carries a full requisition load across corporate, claims, clinical, and leadership roles. The hiring manager reports directly to the Chief People Officer and delivers predictable hiring outcomes in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with business growth, operational goals, and private‑equity value creation plans.
Partner with executive and departmental leaders to forecast workforce needs and build proactive pipelines for high‑volume and specialized roles.
Manage and monitor the recruiting budget to ensure efficiency and ROI across sourcing channels.
Manage a full requisition load and drive end‑to‑end recruitment for key roles across the organization.
Serve as senior recruiter for complex, confidential, or leadership‑level searches.
Set standards for speed, quality, compliance, and candidate experience.
Continuously improve recruiting workflows to maximize speed, quality, and compliance.
Apply analytics, KPIs, and hiring dashboards to drive decision‑making and enhance funnel performance.
Optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) and sourcing tools to ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
Create and maintain standardized recruiting processes across all business units.
Lead, develop, and coach the recruiting team to meet performance goals.
Establish clear expectations, roles, and responsibilities for team members and hiring managers.
Provide regular performance feedback, training, and development opportunities.
Build strong relationships with operational leaders to align recruiting strategies with business objectives.
Develop external partnerships with educational institutions, workforce programs, and recruitment agencies to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
Own creation and communication of hiring dashboards and progress updates.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to strengthen the company’s employer brand and market career opportunities effectively.
Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and conferences to attract specialized talent.
Implement diversity‑focused sourcing strategies and inclusive recruitment practices.
Ensure equitable and bias‑free hiring processes throughout the candidate lifecycle.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry‑specific requirements.
Maintain audit‑ready documentation and follow best practices for a compliance‑driven TPA environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or people‑management role.
Experience in insurance, TPA, healthcare, or other highly regulated, compliance‑driven industries strongly preferred.
Proven working knowledge of sourcing strategies, ATS systems, metrics‑driven recruiting, diversity initiatives, and hiring dashboards.
Strong ability to develop recruiting strategy while executing as a hands‑on practitioner.
Skilled in negotiation, active listening, and effective communication.
Competence in building and managing strong interpersonal relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to identify metrics, adjust priorities quickly, anticipate risks, and engage the right stakeholders at the right time.
Exceptional organization, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
High integrity with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Primarily sedentary work with periods of standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs). Travel by car, train, or air as needed; may involve overnight stays.
Salary
$105,000 – $130,000
