Avail Staffing is seeking skilled professionals to support the repair of U.S. Naval vessels in Hampton Roads. If you have 4+ years of experience working on ABS or NAVSEA-certified vessels, we want you on our team!What You'll Do:- Remove, repair, overhaul, install, and align main propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment, including:Compressors, condensers, pumps, and forced draft blowersCargo handling machinery, anchor gear, cranes, and davitsElevators, conveyors, firefighting systems, and more- Install and repair foundations for ship machinery and major components of ship armament.- Test and inspect installed machinery and equipment during dock and sea trials.- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height/depth gauges, and assist with optical equipment.- Work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to execute high-quality installations and repairs.Why Join Us?Competitive Pay: $24 - $27 per hourFull-time, long-term contract work (40-50 hours per week)Referral Program Opportunities for growth in a high-demand industryRequirements:-Minimum 3+ years of shipyard experience on ABS/NAVSEA vessels-Ability to pass a background check and obtain a DBIDS badge-Willingness to work day shifts, overtime, and weekends as neededApply Today!
