Job Purpose Our field sales team acts as face‑to‑face contact with customers, delivering innovations, incentives, and solutions. This role offers a company vehicle and involves managing a sales territory. As a Territory Development Manager, you will drive sustainable business growth by engaging Operators, Chains, and Trade Partners. You will be accountable for delivering business targets and executing a multi‑touchpoint contact strategy—online and face‑to‑face—to generate demand for Food Solutions products while delivering a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities Engage with local chain account and operator customers, delivering business targets for the assigned territory, including turnover, reach & penetration, digital engagement, demos, sampling, and other focuses. Execute Customer Business Plans, win & retain funnel, contact matrix, and multi‑touchpoint contact strategy both online and offline. Convert business insights to solution selling, highlighting Unilever’s leadership in food trends. Lead customers to the right solution by preparing recommendations for their menu, kitchen operation, and consumer needs. Develop and execute Joint Business Planning (JBPs) with selected trade partners, including trade terms, sell‑out activities, DSRs, and trade team engagement & KPIs. Engage trade customers to gain alignment for Secondary Sales Data partnerships with proof of value addition. Collaborate with Food Solutions Trade & e‑Comm teams to implement promotions, ensuring adequate stock availability and related activities to drive sell‑out. Ensure timely submission and settlement of distributor trade claims. Engage 100% of automated warm leads and targeted leads driven via CRM. Drive conversion of leads in the territory. Achieve penetration strike‑rate targets based on automated account & SKU prioritization. Promote digital buying behavior via e‑commerce platforms, including Webshop and trade partner Webshops. Drive social media engagement and attendance of UFS webinars. Continuously enrich operator data to ensure personalized content. Implement omni‑channel contact strategy for the territory. Required Qualifications 4‑year college degree or 2+ years + culinary degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in foodservice sales. Proven track record of developing strategic relationships with decision‑makers for both operator and distributor customers. Proficiency and drive to become a proficient user of our systems (Blacksmith/Forge, Salesforce, Power BI). Negotiation skills and strong business acumen. Preferred Qualifications Additional experience in the culinary industry. Passion for driving results with a strong interest in the food industry. Pay The pay range for this position is $69,360 to $104,040, determined by factors such as skill, experience, and other organizational considerations. Bonus This position is bonus eligible. Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) This position is LTI eligible.
