Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In / Primary Care clinic in Wimberley, TX . This full-time role blends walk-in care with traditional primary care, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both acute and routine primary care needs across a broad patient population.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute, non-emergent conditions in a walk-in clinic setting * Provide ongoing primary care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine follow-up visits * Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans * Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics * Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care * Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
* Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant * National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) * Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred * Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills * Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
