Job Summary
We are seeking a
Physician Assistant
to join our
Walk-In / Primary Care clinic in Wimberley, TX . This full-time role blends walk-in care with traditional primary care, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both acute and routine primary care needs across a broad patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute, non-emergent conditions in a walk-in clinic setting
Provide ongoing primary care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine follow-up visits
Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant
National certification (NCCPA)
Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time position with a consistent schedule
