Our client is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Manager
to lead all maintenance activities at their manufacturing facility in the
Hazleton, PA area . This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment while driving continuous improvement, minimizing downtime, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.
Maintenance & Reliability Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across manufacturing equipment and facilities Reduce unplanned downtime through effective troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reliability initiatives Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, cost, and safety
Leadership & Team Development Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical, and automation) Plan work assignments, prioritize maintenance requests, and ensure shift coverage Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards Lead lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and equipment safety programs Maintain accurate maintenance and regulatory documentation
Planning, Budgeting & Systems Manage maintenance budgets, labor planning, and outside contractor spend Oversee spare parts and MRO inventory to balance availability and cost control Utilize CMMS to schedule work, track PM compliance, and analyze performance metrics
Required Qualifications 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in 5+ years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with preventive maintenance programs Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field Experience with PLCs, automation, or robotics Lean manufacturing, TPM, or reliability-centered maintenance experience Experience supporting multi-shift maintenance teams
