Are you a detail‑oriented accounting professional looking to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with operations and supply chain teams. This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their accounting experience in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account analyses
Support AP/AR functions
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Prepare internal financial reports and assist with audits
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing a plus!)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
