Qualifications
ADN or higher degree in nursing
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
1+ years of experience in an ICU (preferred)
ACLS certification preferred
Ability to function effectively under stress
Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters, and intervene with appropriate care
Monitor and provide care to patients who are critically ill, unstable, or life‑threatening
Manage life‑support systems such as ventilation and heart monitoring
Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
Administer medications and other treatments
Collaborate with physicians and other health‑care professionals to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and their families about the patient’s condition and care plan
