Internal Medicine Physician Job Description ATCA is seeking an accomplished Internal Medicine Physician to join its Medical Advisory Board and support the clinical and strategic expansion of a next-generation treatment model for Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and complex chronic conditions that impact cognitive health. This role is designed for senior internists with broad clinical experience managing patients with multiple comorbidities, longitudinal disease progression, and complex diagnostic profiles. As an Internal Medicine Advisor, you will help ensure ATCA’s precision medicine approach is grounded in comprehensive, whole-patient care while remaining scalable across a growing national clinic network. You will work closely with ATCA’s executive leadership, neurologists, geriatricians, psychiatrists, and data science partners to refine treatment pathways, optimize care coordination, and ensure that systemic contributors to cognitive decline are appropriately identified and addressed. Responsibilities Include Clinical Strategy & Oversight: Provide expert guidance on internal medicine–driven evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and mild cognitive impairment, particularly those with complex chronic conditions. Comorbidity Management: Advise on integrating cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine, renal, and inflammatory conditions into individualized treatment plans within ATCA’s precision medicine model. Precision Medicine Integration: Guide how laboratory data, imaging, medical history, and longitudinal health metrics should inform AI-assisted treatment decisions. Care Coordination & Continuity: Support the development of coordinated care pathways that align specialty care, primary care, and longitudinal monitoring across ATCA clinics. Quality & Outcomes Review: Review aggregated, de-identified patient outcomes to ensure clinical quality, safety, and continuous improvement across multi-disciplinary care teams. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, technologists, and executive leadership to align comprehensive medical care with operational scalability and patient experience.
