About the Role We are seeking a

Senior Oracle Database Administrator

to support

USSTRATCOM

at Offutt AFB, NE. This role supports mission-critical systems responsible for national security, strategic deterrence, and 24x7 global operations. You will work in a complex, secure DoD environment managing Oracle databases, storage, backups, performance tuning, and compliance with Cyber Command STIGs.

Key Responsibilities Maintain multiple

Oracle Home

directories across multi-platform environments Install, upgrade, patch, and tune Oracle DBMS software Develop and maintain

Perl and UNIX shell scripts

for database monitoring Perform daily, weekly, and archival

backup verification and restores Configure database storage, sizing, recovery, security, and versions Work closely with System Administrators on system configuration and disk allocation Perform

database performance tuning

and production support Ensure databases comply with

DoD Cyber Command STIGs Design and manage complex database schemas and architectures Provide expertise in

data storage systems , backup, and archival policies Support heterogeneous and distributed computing environments

Required Qualifications 1016 years

of relevant experience MS or MA

in Computer Science, IT, Data Management, or related field Strong experience with

Oracle Database Administration ITIL v4 Foundation certification Expertise in database design, governance, and data warehousing Experience working in secure DoD environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Active TS/SCI clearance U.S. Citizen Nice to Have: Familiarity with data science tools and methodologies
