Our fintech client is seeking a full‑time, direct hire candidate for a position that is 75% on‑premises Linux server administration and 25% AWS / Amazon Cloud work. The role offers an annual salary range of $135,000 to $165,000, depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a small team to design, implement, and maintain AWS CI/CD pipelines for applications on‑premise and in the cloud.
Configure, manage, and optimize Linux servers, including network switch configuration and programming.
Implement IaC practices using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible to automate server provisioning and configuration.
Monitor system and application health, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Enhance metrics and logs collection to observability platforms such as DataDog.
Continuously improve observability of real‑time data streams.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues affecting data delivery.
Work with multicast / UDP streaming and distributed messaging systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience with C++, C#, or Go (GoLang).
Linux administration and network switch configuration/programming.
AWS services: CloudFormation, Outposts, ECS, S3, Kafka, API Gateway, CI/CD pipelines.
Observability tools: DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack.
Programming: Bash, Python.
Messaging queues: SQS, RabbitMQ, Azure Queues, ZeroMQ, MSMQ.
