Senior Manager Platform Automation Location: Titusville, New Jersey, United States of America (Additional postings available in Beerse, Belgium).

Job Function: Technology Product & Platform Management – Technical Product Management.

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Platform Automation to lead the implementation of automation solutions within SAP BTP as part of the Pharm Transcend Program. The role will focus on designing and deploying value chain automation to improve visibility and efficiency across material, logistics, and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the strategic vision and prioritization of new technical features and enhancements within automation capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Lead end‑to‑end execution and delivery of initiatives, encompassing design, development, deployment, and ongoing operational support.

Balance business value propositions with technical feasibility, optimizing cost efficiency.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs, manage cross‑team dependencies, and oversee demand intake processes.

Design and implement automation solutions within the Pharma Supply Chain ERP platform, ensuring robustness and scalability.

Drive standardization of business processes and develop strategic solutions that exemplify best practices aligned with SAP product roadmap.

Provide technical leadership in architecture, facilitating seamless integrations across inter‑company flows.

Oversee implementation, testing, and UAT support to meet design specifications.

Measure solution performance against demand volume and business challenges to drive continuous improvement.

Serve as the JJT workstream lead, building and motivating an international cross‑regional project team.

Coach and inspire the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferred fields: Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance).

Minimum 8 years in Supply Chain Technology.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience with SAP ECC / S/4 HANA systems.

Strong foundational knowledge in Plan/Source, Make/QM, Customer Excellence/Logistics/Trade Sales, Tax, Finance, Master Data.

Deep understanding of financial and logistical flows in multinational operations; SAP‑ERP integration expertise.

Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare and familiarity with SOX & GxP compliance.

Agile methodology experience and strong understanding of SDLC.

Leadership & Skills

Agile delivery mindset with measurable outcomes.

Experience leading cross‑functional self‑organized teams across multiple countries.

Effective collaboration and partner management.

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.

Preferred

Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA and S4 HANA certification.

People management experience (mentoring, coaching).

Experience in global/regional setting and large‑scale transformation programs.

Product backlog management and release planning expertise.

Compensation Base pay range: $120,000‑$207,000 per year.
