Position Overview:
The
Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets
will play a key role in supporting the firm’s investor relations and capital market activities. This position is ideal for someone with a strong commercial real estate background and exceptional presentation and analytical skills. The role is highly visible and requires a mix of creative, strategic, and technical capabilities, particularly in creating compelling investor and corporate presentation materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, design, and refine investor and corporate presentation decks using PowerPoint.
Partner closely with senior leadership to develop clear, visually compelling materials that communicate the firm’s investment strategy, performance, and pipeline.
Assist in managing updates to recurring investor reports, pitch decks, and fundraising materials.
Conduct market and investor research to identify new capital sources, including institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth channels.
Utilize investor databases and platforms to support fundraising strategy and outreach initiatives.
Maintain and update internal CRM systems with investor activity and intelligence.
Assist with capital markets communications, data requests, and due diligence support.
Coordinate materials and research for investor meetings, conferences, and capital raising events.
Support senior leadership in ad hoc capital markets analysis and project initiatives.
Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or related focus of study preferred.
A graduate from a top‑tier college institution is preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience working in real estate investment management, capital markets, investment banking, or private equity.
Strong commercial real estate background is essential; familiarity with terminology and industry metrics needed.
Advanced PowerPoint skills with sharp eye for detail, layout, and data visualization.
Strong research and analytical capabilities, preferably with experience using investor research platform.
Excellent communication skills; ability to distill complex information to concise, investor‑ready materials.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
