Position Overview The

Manager, Demand Planning

plays a critical, strategic role in shaping how 80 Acres forecasts demand, aligns production, and drives operational excellence across the value chain. This role owns the enterprise demand forecasting process—integrating insights from Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance—to ensure we deliver the right product, in the right place, at the right time. As a Lead Professional, you elevate our forecasting discipline, lead the S&OP demand workstream, and drive data‑backed decisions to optimize inventory, improve service levels, and enable scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build, refine, and own statistical demand forecasts using historical data, customer insights, consumption patterns, market intelligence, and new product inputs.

Develop forecast models aligned to business needs (weekly, monthly, annual).

Continuously improve forecast accuracy using KPIs such as MAPE, bias, and service levels, proactively identifying root causes and corrective actions.

Influence senior leaders with clear, data‑driven recommendations during planning cycles.

Lead the Demand Review within the S&OP process, presenting forecast updates, risks, and opportunities to executive stakeholders.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to incorporate promotions, launches, distribution changes, and market trends into demand assumptions.

Collaborate closely with Supply Planning and Procurement to align capacity, materials, and production plans with demand.

Analyze trends, seasonality, customer behavior, geographic demand patterns, and forecast variability.

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI, AWS Supply Chain, and Excel.

Translate data into actionable insights that drive operational and financial decisions.

Identify demand risks, scenario‑plan alternatives, and communicate impacts succinctly to leadership.

Serve as a forecasting system subject‑matter expert (AWS Supply Chain, ERP platforms, Power BI).

Drive enhancements in forecasting tools, data integrity, automation, and process scalability.

Develop and maintain SOPs and best practices for demand planning, driving adoption across the organization.

Support system implementations and cross‑functional integration projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, IBF, CPIM) is a plus.

5–7 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.

Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.).

Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills.

Advanced Excel and data visualization proficiency (Power BI, Tableau).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
