Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Manager of Demand Planning to lead the development and execution of regional demand plans. This role is critical in driving forecast accuracy, aligning cross-functional inputs, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can translate complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities
Lead Regional Forecasting: Own the end-to-end demand planning process for assigned regions, ensuring high forecast accuracy and alignment with financial and operational objectives. Analytical Forecast Development: Use statistical models, historical data, and real-time market inputs to generate detailed forecasts by category and region. Monitor accuracy and apply continuous improvement techniques to refine performance. S&OP Process Ownership: Lead regional demand reviews and contribute to the overall Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cadence. Present clear summaries of forecast performance, key drivers, and opportunities for improvement. System & Process Optimization: Support the ongoing system implementation and process automation initiatives. Develop dashboards and tools that enhance forecast visibility and drive consistency across teams. Performance Tracking: Develop and report on key metrics (forecast accuracy, bias, MAPE) to identify trends and drive accountability across functions. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors/University degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or related Business degree required. MBA Preferred CSCP or IBF Certification a plus 8 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, and S&OP in CPG/Retail Space. 2+ years People Leader experience Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with experience using large data sets to develop actionable insights Proficient in Business Intelligence tools and software Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to influence across departments and leadership levels. Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of working independently and proactively. Ability to lead demand review meetings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. Experience in utilizing Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP systems Physical Demands/Work Environment
