Physician Hospitalist

Physician Hospitalist – CompHealth CompHealth is looking for a Physician Hospitalist to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule, 7 pm‑7 am shifts, and a reasonable patient census of 6–8 admissions with cross‑coverage. No procedures are required in the closed ICU setting.

We welcome candidates with internal medicine or family practice backgrounds, board‑certified or board‑eligible. The role is hospital‑employed with academic affiliation, and teaching opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care on the 7 on/7 off schedule (7 pm‑7 am shifts)

Manage a patient census of 6–8 admissions with cross‑coverage

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a closed ICU setting
