Job Description The High Income and Alternatives Technology team is looking for a hardworking, highly motivated senior full stack software engineer with strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software design to join their ranks. Prior development experience in investment management domain will be a strong plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development of quality software components that are used by Portfolio Managers and Analysts in managing over $100 Billion in High Yield, Credit Alternatives, and Systematic Investment Research Funds. You will engage, shape, and productively contribute to Alphabet, our flagship portfolio construction platform.

In addition to building software, you will have an opportunity to help define and implement development practices, standards, and strategies across multiple teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a computational field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.

Full-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.

Experience with testing, including writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests on both front and backend.

Experience with deploying and supporting applications and systems in a production environment.

Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners.

Favors Agile development practices that prioritize incremental delivery of working software.

Ability to accept and adapt to scope changes seamlessly.

Understanding of Fixed Income and Equity instruments, security analytics, investment workflow, alternatives, and bond markets is a significant plus.

Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is a plus.

Experience with Kubernetes/EKS deployment and operations management exposure is a plus.

Experience with Kafka is a plus.

Progress towards CFA program certification is a significant plus.
