MDM Architect/Developer – New Jersey
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Architect/Developer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide MDM solutions that ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable MDM solutions using leading platforms (Informatica MDM, Reltio, or SAP Master Data Governance)
Architect data models and govern master data domains including customer, product, vendor, and reference data
Implement data quality frameworks and establish data governance policies and procedures
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to integrate master data across enterprise systems
Build and optimize data pipelines using modern orchestration tools
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data standards and resolve data quality issues
Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to development teams
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Master Data Management and data integration
Expert-level proficiency with at least one enterprise MDM platform (Informatica MDM, Reltio, or SAP MDG)
Strong background in data governance frameworks, data quality management, and dimensional/relational data modeling
Hands‑on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or Talend
Proficiency in SQL for complex query development and database optimization
Working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow or similar)
Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in relevant MDM platforms
Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools
Knowledge of industry‑specific data standards (healthcare, financial services, retail)
Agile/Scrum methodology experience
