Practice at a high-acuity, high-volume ACS Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Burn Center, and STEMI/PCI center.

Affiliated with the AECOM, Jacobi Emergency Medicine is a main teaching site for one of the premiere Emergency Medicine residency training programs in the country, with 84 total Emergency Medicine residents over 4 years.

Jacobi Emergency Medicine is responsible for running Jacobi’s regional snake‑bite center and a multi‑person hyperbaric treatment facility that treat elective and emergency cases.

The Department has active programs in ultrasound, simulation, hyperbaric, toxicology / addiction care, public health & advocacy, global health, education, and research. The Department is looking to recruit faculty with these subspecialty niches and others.
