Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting. Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies. Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment. Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely, with documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Advocate for clients\' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Active Florida Licensure Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD required) Bilingual Spanish speaking provider required as based on client need Minimum of 2 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment About APG

Today, APG Health is the largest outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic in the Central Florida Area with providers providing care and support for more than twenty thousand clients. Services include psychiatric care for adults and children, mental health counseling, on-site ADHD testing, and clinical trials and studies for eligible candidates. We are staffed by over 20 clinicians that include Psychiatrists, Adult Registered Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, and Psychologists with a range of specialties in the field of psychiatry.
