Stroke Neurohospitalist Highlights:
The schedule follows a three-week rotation: week one is dedicated to inpatient care, week two is off, and week three focuses on clinic follow-ups
Neurohospitalist covers weekends and those nights when on service (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon) (nights are phone call only, manageable in terms of volume)
Consultative service
Robust APP support
Reading vascular ultrasounds would be welcomed, but not required
Vascular or neurocritical care fellowship training is required, but experienced candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Opportunity for a combined neurocritical care and stroke practice
Neuromuscular Highlights:
Highly subspecialized, no more than 20-25% general NL volume (mainly headache/migraine volume)
Combination schedule featuring a neuromuscular clinic (2 days per week) and EMGs (2 days per week)
Accredited EMG lab
Currently in the process of becoming one of four accredited ALS Centers in Michigan.
Program leadership opportunity available, with the potential to take over leadership of the Neurodiagnostics Lab
Lead and grow their monthly ALS Clinic
Located in southwest Michigan, sits just east of Lake Michigan and approximately halfway between Detroit and Chicago. The area boasts a rich cultural scene, affordable real estate, and a strong emphasis on education. It is home to several international companies.
