Platform Engineer – Infra / Reliability Specialist
Anything is the AI product engineer for the next wave of entrepreneurs. It is an AI agent that turns English into apps, providing all the tools needed to build profitable online businesses—mobile, web, design, AI, backend, infrastructure, payments.
Base pay range:
$125,000 – $200,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Design and operate multi‑tenant cloud infrastructure, including isolation, deployment, observability, and cost controls for customer applications.
Maintain world‑class reliability for the platform and respond quickly to incidents to keep uptime high.
Research and make decisions on technology choices and service providers to keep the platform on the cutting edge.
Collaborate with product to build platform features that support product innovation and enable the next billion developers.
Keep up to date with the latest research and development in infrastructure and reliability.
Qualifications
A strong technical foundation from a top CS program or equivalent hands‑on experience building real scalable systems.
Experience building or operating distributed systems in production (cloud infrastructure, backend services, or platforms).
Evidence of ambitious, self‑driven projects or work that required problem solving and ownership.
Experience designing scalable systems that support many users.
Solid programming fundamentals and experience with Typescript.
Exceptional ability to read deeply, reason clearly, and communicate complex ideas.
Experience working in fast‑paced environments while balancing care with urgency.
Nice to Have
Prior experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend roles.
Experience building early‑stage systems at a scale‑up.
Previous experience as a sysadmin.
Personal projects that show initiative, creativity, and independent thinking.
Backgrounds or interests that span technical and non‑technical domains (e.g., writing, design, philosophy, economics).
Compensation Base pay: $125,000 – $200,000 per year, plus standard benefits and equity.
