Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

Job Overview We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to report to the Construction Program Manager within the Enterprise Infrastructure Programs (EIP) Directorate. The role will support presentation development, track performance of Construction and Planning Projects, update program metrics, oversee planning deliverables, and may manage small infrastructure projects through the entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of projects across the entire lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing) using MSTS project‑management processes and tools.
Oversee planning deliverables for construction projects to ensure they meet program requirements (e.g., functional requirements documents, work‑breakdown structures, estimates, project charters, execution plans).
Develop programming and task‑planning deliverables in preparation for annual submittal.
Identify and drive branding and communication opportunities that showcase past, current, and future infrastructure projects.
Integrate with multiple organizations, including EIP, Project Planning, Project Execution, and other MSTS units as needed.
Oversee key Construction Program communications, including monthly reporting, site walk‑downs, and presentations for the NNSA sponsor and EIP team.
Act as Construction Program G2 backup, submitting data into the NNSA financial and schedule system.
Support EIP‑hosted events for NNSA sponsors and MSTS management by coordinating updates to communication materials.
Provide program and portfolio analysis by capturing and analyzing data to create summary metrics and presentations for performance tracking.
Advance MSTS and EIP initiatives and strategic planning efforts supporting the infrastructure portfolio.
Apply best‑practice project‑management processes through an Integrated Project Team (IPT) approach for planning, work authorization, monitoring, and control.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience with at least 5 years of related professional experience.
Previous construction project‑management experience, including managing small projects
Proficiency in defining, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and completing discrete scope elements to meet schedule, cost, risk, and quality constraints.
Ability to satisfy stakeholder expectations and manage communications among project stakeholders.
Strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational skills for tracking multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams) and quick learning of new applications.
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, evaluating alternatives and producing systematic solutions.
Collaboration skills, facilitating discussion, resolving conflicts within the IPT, and building cross‑functional relationships.
Decision‑making skills, including escalation when necessary and risk analysis.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all information within the scope of the position.
Additional Requirements
Primary work location: Losee Road facility, North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Work schedule: 4/10s, Monday‑Thursday (subject to change).
Pre‑placement physical examination, including drug screen, is required.
Valid driver’s license.
Security Clearance Position requires a DOE Q‑level security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age, and able to obtain and maintain the clearance. The clearance process includes background investigations, drug‑testing, credit checks, and possible counterintelligence evaluations.
Benefits & Compensation Annual salary range:
$98,592.00 – $147,888.00 .
Starting salary will be determined based on market value, candidate education, experience, and internal equity.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, pension, 401(k), paid time off, 96 paid holidays, relocation assistance (if >75 miles), tuition assistance, and more.
