Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners’ representatives to ensure alignment with client goals from initiation to completion.
Have comprehensive knowledge of contract documents (Turner’s contract, plans, specs, applicable codes).
Lead, supervise, and develop Turner MEP staff, including performance appraisals.
Oversee daily activities of Engineer‑MEP, Superintendent‑MEP, and subordinates.
Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close‑out processes.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience progressing from design to field installations of mechanical and electrical systems or equivalent.
Ability to identify design features that command cost premiums and recommend alternatives.
Demonstrated ability to present technical material.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable.
Ability to implement leading‑edge technologies.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions.
