General Description:

Responsible for analyzing information and creating financial and marketing deliverables for the ancillary coverages of smaller clients with less complex benefit programs. Focus is on dental, vision, life AD&DD, disability, and worksite.

Responsibilities

Ancillary financial analytics for clients primarily under 300 lives.

Prepare standard analyses with minimal customization, including:

Market review analysis

Rate and contribution analysis

Financial, contractual, and rate comparisons and analysis

Analyze claims experience data and identify financial performance conclusions.

Help drive USI’s panel carrier strategy and process.

Manage RFP workload for less complex clients and support senior team members.

Serve as primary contact with insurance carriers on new business quotes and renewals.

Develop strategic plans and solutions for less complex clients.

Negotiate market results with carriers and develop alternative strategies, plan modeling, and cost reduction opportunities.

Perform technical analysis of group insurance contracts and financial arrangements.

Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships.

Participate in the peer review process, primarily as the reviewed party.

Keep current on industry information, technology, and trends.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

6 months+ experience in Employee Benefits related field preferred.

High school graduate (college degree preferred, but not required).

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment with some instruction.

Ability to manage and negotiate multiple priorities and deadlines.

Must hold or be willing to obtain a Life & Disability insurance license within the first six months of employment.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Salary Range: $63,000 - $70,000

Bonus Eligible – target incentive of 5%

Position is eligible for Paid Time Off/Paid Sick Leave (18 days per year).
