Overview Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead nationwide dealer and channel sales for a growing electric mobility manufacturer. This high‑visibility, sales‑first role is designed for a strong individual contributor who wants meaningful influence, autonomy, and a clear path into sales leadership.

Location & Schedule Hybrid and field‑based role. Candidates must be within two hours of DFW and be able to be on premises at least monthly. Travel is expected to be 60‑70% initially, decreasing as territories stabilize.

Responsibilities

Own dealer and channel sales across the United States.

Build and expand relationships with independent dealers and multi‑location partners.

Conduct in‑person and virtual product demonstrations.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.

Drive revenue through disciplined territory planning and execution.

Help refine sales strategy, territory coverage, and go‑to‑market approach.

Oversee and support part‑time sales representatives as markets mature.

Territory and Market Focus

Nationwide responsibility.

Priority markets include California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Denver.

Performance Expectations

Year‑one team revenue target of $7M to $10M.

Personal contribution of approximately 30% of total revenue.

First sale expected within approximately 45 days.

Compensation and Upside

Base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Tiered commission structure up to 1.5% at quota attainment.

Additional commission override on managed sales representatives.

Estimated on‑target earnings of $160,000 to $190,000+, with upside tied directly to performance.

Who This Role Is For

4 to 7+ years of B2B territory sales experience.

Proven success selling through dealers, distributors, or channel partners.

Comfort with travel and autonomy in managing a large territory.

Strong consultative selling and relationship‑building skills.

A desire to grow into leadership while remaining sales‑focused.

Nice to Have Mandarin fluency or familiarity with Chinese business culture.
