About the Opportunity Jerry.ai is seeking a
Sr. Platform Engineer
to help us build out our infrastructure for scale. We've achieved product‑market fit and are in a rapid scaling phase, making this a critical moment for our team. You will be the key driver of automation, scalability, and reliability across our entire infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and a strategic partner designing and implementing solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster and deliver high‑quality products.
Responsibilities
Develop systems and components to improve operational simplicity and reliability of Jerry’s product systems (e.g., monitoring system, deployment automation, diagnosis tools).
Support and manage Jerry’s cloud accounts end‑to‑end, ensuring robustness and security.
Build tools to manage security access and capacity planning of cloud resources.
Collaborate with product teams to guide systems architecture and provide suggestions for reliability and optimization of production systems.
Coordinate Jerry’s production incident handling across teams.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
5+ years of experience with Amazon AWS services and tools (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, ElasticCache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.).
Meticulous attention to detail to keep systems running reliably.
Strong coding skills in Python or Golang (familiarity with NodeJS and TypeScript). Excellent system analysis and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
Highly motivated and thrives in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with a passion for scalable, highly available cloud systems.
