Project Engineer‑Electrical
role at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage multiple simultaneous federal projects, ensuring quality and compliance on large‑scale construction projects.
Location Anchorage, AK (JBER)
Base Pay Range $120,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr (salary based on experience, to be discussed with the hiring manager)
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screen.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering, construction, and contract administration experience.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Experience with large federal building design or construction projects (≥ $100 million).
Preferred experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects or “large campus” type projects.
Experience with RMS 3.0 and other project management systems.
Strong knowledge of low‑ and high‑voltage electrical systems, controls, building automation, data centers, and related engineering elements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide engineering services on several simultaneous federal projects with construction values up to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements and deliver recommendations to government personnel.
Prepare field surveillance reports covering all pertinent cost and engineering considerations.
Participate in pre‑construction conferences and daily reporting to government personnel.
Review and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders, and claims.
Support site observation, reporting, and technical and administrative tasks.
Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.
