Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr. Salary will be discussed with manager in interview.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen and pass federal background review and drug screen.
Minimum 10 years of engineering, construction and contract administration experience.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Experience on federal projects of at least $100 million or more is desired.
Experience with large university/ campus projects preferred.
Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects preferred.
Familiarity with RMS 3.0 preferred.
Significant experience with low‑voltage systems preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering services on multiple simultaneous federal projects up to hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value.
Maintain site observation and reporting for assigned projects to government personnel.
Provide technical and administrative support.
Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities according to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements.
Deliver recommendations to government personnel on compliance with contract provisions.
Review and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders and claims.
Prepare field surveillance and daily detailed reports covering all pertinent factors affecting cost and engineering considerations.
Participate in pre‑construction conferences with government personnel.
Apply knowledge of industrial/laboratory building electrical systems (low and high voltage), system controls, building automation, data centers, and other complex electrical‑engineering elements found in large buildings and utility plants.
Previous experience with US Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.
Education / Experience
Minimum 10 years of engineering, construction and contract administration experience.
Experience on projects with government clients preferred.
Experience with large campus type projects preferred.
Experience with RMS 3.0 preferred.
