Payroll Administrator – Hybrid, Boston, Seaport

About the Firm This international law firm is looking to hire a Payroll Administrator on their payroll team. The position will process payroll for about 1000 employees on both a bi‑weekly and monthly payroll. They use an automated payroll system, and this will be a multistate payroll.
Responsibilities
Cutting manual payroll checks when needed or required.
Stay updated on payroll systems, accounting practices, and Federal/State wage and hour regulations.
Collect and prepare reports generated from the Time Tracking System.
Verify that payroll changes are accurately documented and receive proper approval.
Manage and process imports from various departments related to payroll adjustments.
Support Payroll Managers with the collection and reconciliation of quarterly and annual tax reports.
Additional payroll and related work as needed.
Qualifications – Must Have
2+ years of payroll experience.
Process payrolls over 500 employees.
Experience with automated payroll systems (SAP, Peoplesoft, Workday, ADP, Ceridian).
Manual payroll calculations.
Experience manually cutting a payroll check.
Multistate experience (ideally including NY and CA).
Nice to Have
Workday Ultimate.
