Employment Details
Temporary Employment:
up to six months with the potential for permanent placement.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000 (based on applicable and specialized experience and location).
Ideal Candidates
1 year building maintenance management experience.
2-3 years minimum hands‑on building maintenance knowledge.
Desire and passion to lead and mentor a team.
Responsibilities As an Engineering Manager, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically:
Assigning work, supervising staff and verifying and documenting the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
Managing the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and life safety systems in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Directing outside contractors and inspecting quality of work by team members.
Responding and coordinating responses to guest calls and emergency situations; interviewing, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling and evaluating staff.
