DDC is hiring a Senior Account Executive to turn big-picture public affairs strategies into high-performing campaigns. You'll be a key client partner, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. The Senior Account Executive will support growing advocacy, shaping public policy conversations, and strengthening stakeholder engagement for different clients across a variety of industries.
What You'll Do
Build a deep understanding of client issues, priorities, and organizational dynamics
Track the political and communications landscape to inform timely recommendations
Articulate DDC’s value proposition and identify organic growth opportunities
Translate strategy into plans, timelines, and coordinated workstreams
Manage day-to-day client communications and expectations with confidence
Develop and oversee compelling content that advances client positions
Collaborate across creative, data, tech, in‑state teams, and operations to deliver on time and on brand
Aggregate and analyze campaign metrics to inform optimizations and reporting
Understand client financials; build budgets, revenue forecasts, and scopes
Recommend resourcing aligned to agreements and program goals
Mentor junior team members and model DDC’s collaborative culture
Qualifications
3–5+ years of public affairs, communications, or agency experience serving external clients
Proven experience running integrated campaigns and day‑to‑day client programs
Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to craft persuasive, on‑message content
Confident client communicator with executive presence and proactive problem‑solving
Solid grasp of budgets, scopes, and forecasting; comfortable with analytics tools
A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior colleagues

$80,000
