Base pay range World Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Long Term Care to join our team on a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents and demonstrate flexibility to work rotating shifts, including every weekend. The position offers 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care environment
Complete assessments, documentation, and care plans in accordance with standards
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Utilize EMR tools (experience with Point Click preferred)
Requirements
Active and current Hawaii RN license (required prior to contract start)
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
Ability and willingness to work every weekend and rotating shifts
Experience in long-term care settings strongly preferred
Certifications (One or more may be required depending on role/coverage needs)

Additional Notes
Holiday pay is based on shift start time:
If the shift begins on the holiday, the entire shift is paid at holiday rate.
If the shift begins prior and runs into the holiday, standard rate applies.
Compliance requirements differ from other statewide systems and may not require pre-contract approval processes before staffing.
