Job Summary To perform specimen collection, specimen processing, and administrative tasks associated with clinical assessment of patients.
Responsibilities
Collect patient specimens and process them according to laboratory protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative tasks related to specimen handling.
Serve as a liaison to house staff, patient care services, medical students, physicians, and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
Execute tasks required to maintain accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, and DCRA.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
