Registered Nurse - Physical Rehab Care
Physical Rehabilitation Care – Part Time (60%)
Shift: Nights, 12‑hour shift Location: San Francisco, CA (St. Mary’s Campus)
Salary range: $84.78 – $109.85 per hour (subject to additional approvals based on UC policy)
Job Summary Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
Responsibilities
Assess and plan care for patients in a physical rehabilitation setting.
Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient outcomes.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery.
Provide education to patients and families regarding therapeutic activities and home care.
Document nursing care and maintain accurate records.
Required Qualifications
Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
2–3 years RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Experience with a holistic approach to meeting patients' medical, vocational, educational, and environmental needs.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse).
Charge nurse experience.
Experience in acute rehabilitation care or a combination of education, other experience, and specialty training.
Demonstrated competency in ARU nursing.
License/Certification
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Current health‑care provider CPR certification.
ACLS for Adult Critical Care.
