Job Summary

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Mobility Essentials team to drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for Umo Pass and cFlex – cloud‑hosted electronic fare payment systems. This pure agile team requires experience with Agile, Kanban, or Scrum.

The role partners with product management, customers, business owners, and stakeholders to define and prioritize user stories, shape and deliver innovative experiences for agencies and their riders, and maximize value in minimal time.

Responsibilities

Use cloud‑hosted platform experience to innovate solutions that drive customer value, reduce cost, and increase flexibility.

Apply industry knowledge of automated fare collection and high‑tech solutions to a team of bright innovators.

Stay current in the Fare Collection Industry to deliver novel concepts beyond customer expectations.

Obsess over delivery speed for new agency customers through efficient, automated processes.

Refine the product backlog, prioritizing based on value, time, and dependencies.

Accept stories upon completion.

Collaborate with the broader Umo product team for cross‑team alignment.

Design Umo Pass to be flexible with other Umo offerings and third‑party partners.

Drive operational efficiency and ROI with product, program, and engineering teams.

Identify new market opportunities and partnerships with business development.

Work closely with engineers to maximize value delivered quickly.

Continuously gather customer insights to overcome challenges with innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Four‑year college degree or equivalent experience.

3 years of Product Owner, product management, or related experience.

Passion for improving customer experience.

Advanced prioritization, triage, and problem‑solving skills.

Data‑driven product strategy evolution.

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high morale.

Preferred Qualifications

Diverse experience in product management, project management, vendor management, user experience, or customer support.

Direct Software‑as‑a‑Service business model experience.

Success leveraging behavioral analytics, feature flags, and engagement platforms.

Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum, or similar).

Compensation

$146,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year + benefits.

Pay ranges vary by geographic market.
