Role Summary We are looking for a Product Owner who works closely with our product management team, customers, business owners, and stakeholders. The role focuses on shaping and delivering an innovative experience while improving the experience for riders and agencies.
Qualifications
Experience with cloud‑hosted platforms and electronic fare‑payment systems.
Strong background in automated fare collection, fare payment, or high‑technology solutions.
Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and deliver products that delight customers.
Experience in agile environments (Kanban, Scrum, or similar) is a must.
Bottom‑line responsibility for delivering products and a track record in last‑mile initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Innovate solutions that drive customer value, reduce cost, and increase flexibility.
Stay current in the Fare Collection Industry to drive novel concepts that fit customers’ hidden needs.
Ensure efficient, automated delivery processes for new agency customers to accelerate speed of delivery.
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, collaborating with system architects, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
Accept stories upon completion and collaborate with the broader Umo product team to drive cross‑team collaboration.
Design Umo Pass to be flexible and adaptable with other Umo offerings and third‑party partners.
Drive operational efficiency and return on investment with product, program, and engineering partners.
