This leadership role goes beyond execution; it requires a visionary capable of bridging legacy systems with future‑state AI/ML capabilities, driving adoption across the enterprise, and establishing a world‑class Center of Excellence (COE).

Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise AI/ML COE, define and evolve the AI/ML roadmap, and align it with business objectives and emerging technologies.

Drive innovation with Generative AI and agentic systems, evaluating open‑source and proprietary models (e.g., LLaMA, Phi) and staying at the forefront of the GenAI ecosystem.

Empower data scientists to transform models into reliable, governed, and scalable AI systems; accelerate deployment through automation and reusable infrastructure.

Oversee design and deployment of AI pipelines, custom agents, and ML platforms; ensure productionization of models built in Python, deployed as containers or on Databricks using modern engineering practices.

Partner with senior leadership, data engineering, data science, and architecture teams to deliver integrated solutions across major business units (Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Tech).

Navegate concerns around automation and job displacement with a compelling vision for value creation.

Qualifications – Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years in AI/ML, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.

Hands‑on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and multi‑agent systems (e.g., MCP, A2A).

Strong foundation in Python, containerization, and large cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); experience with Databricks preferred.

Ability to lead teams leveraging large‑scale cloud‑native solutions.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience as a strategic change agent, scaling AI capabilities in large, matrixed organizations.
