Centurion Selection
The General Superintendent will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of complex high-rise commercial projects, valued up to $400 million.
Base pay range $225,000.00/yr - $285,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day construction site operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, foremen, and field personnel.
Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
Monitor project costs and budgets to prevent overruns.
Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct site inspections and resolve construction issues as they arise.
Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address concerns.
Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality control standards.
Train and mentor field staff to improve performance and efficiency.
Manage equipment and materials to optimize resources and reduce waste.
Qualifications & Skills
Extensive experience in construction management or a related field.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in construction scheduling software and project management tools.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).
10+ years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
Experience in managing large-scale projects (upwards of $100 million) across various sectors (commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, etc.).
