Overview We are seeking an

Assistant Account Executive, Social Media

to join our Media+Influence team. The role involves managing client social media channels—including research, creative ideation, content creation, publishing, community management, and reporting. Community management will make up the majority of day‑to‑day responsibilities.

Working hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or holiday coverage rotations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of client social media channels (research, creative ideation, content creation, publishing, community management, and reporting).

Deliver responsive community management during assigned coverage hours.

Adapt content to different brand tones of voice and personalities, from playful to formal, based on client needs.

Stay abreast of social trends and platform developments, using personal initiative and guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

At least one year of professional experience in social media marketing with community management and content responsibilities at an agency, brand, or organization.

Familiarity with major social media platforms and content and community management best practices for each.

Familiarity with third‑party social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Khoros, Sprinklr, and/or Emplifi is a plus; training will be provided.

Strong interest in online culture, emerging social trends, and platform‑native behavior.

Comfort responding quickly and accurately during assigned coverage hours.

Comfort working within established brand guidelines, voice frameworks, and approval processes.

Ability to prioritize multiple conversations, tasks, and deadlines during fast‑moving coverage periods.

Team‑oriented, with an innate ability to understand needs and objectives and manage expectations and turnaround times.

Ability to work on several accounts with differing team members across time zones; requires a highly organized and effective communicator.

Exemplary follow‑through and execution skills.

Strong writing skills and attention to detail.

Passion for in‑depth learning on varied topics and industries.

Willingness and ability to quickly learn and use new tools and resources.

Excellent and thorough critical‑thinking skills and capabilities.
