Overview The focus of this role is on our white‑label offering, partnering with our B2B partners to ensure they have the data and services to leverage Agoda’s technological products on their platform and provide a better experience for our shared customers. Agoda’s Senior Product Managers are responsible for defining the overall strategy and goals for Agoda’s various products, including the website, mobile applications, email marketing, and advanced internal products such as algorithmic PPC bidding systems and pricing software. They drive relentless innovation required to stay ahead in an extremely dynamic and competitive industry, create and maintain a product roadmap, and communicate with all stakeholders to keep Agoda’s products performing at the highest level and serving the needs of our many customer groups.
A Senior Product Manager will see the big picture and small detail simultaneously, understand broad business needs, scan the competitive landscape, spot trends, update the product roadmap, and understand every detail of the product from design to usability. They will be well versed in eCommerce metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, site performance, bounce rate and return on investment.
Responsibilities
Working on white‑label products from ideation until launch
Working closely with white‑label partners to leverage Agoda’s technological product on their platform
Monitoring and analyzing market conditions, conducting competitor and technology landscape analysis, and prioritizing market segment opportunities
Setting the strategic direction to align short‑term and long‑term strategy with customer needs and business goals
Converting strategic goals into operational tasks
Managing an agile team for launch to create and maintain a consistent, branded look and feel across all products
Defining KPIs for all projects and evaluating their success
Defining navigational flow and user experience on the site, apps, etc.
Evaluating risks and trade‑offs associated with each course of action
Working closely with users to ensure all projects meet business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline)
3+ years of product management experience
Strong communication and presentation skills (English and Japanese)
Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision‑making
Experience working in a fast‑paced and high‑growth environment
Experience in B2B2C, B2B, or B2C product space
Experience and passion for web design, functionality, and testing
Enthusiasm to develop engineered processes and technologies and to apply innovative solutions to drive organizational improvements
Ability to motivate and inspire development teams to achieve beyond what they imagined possible
Ability to work well with and influence stakeholders at all levels
Entrepreneurial and analytical; effective at managing change in a fast‑moving, constantly evolving business
Experience with the latest internet trends and technologies
MBA or advanced Math, Computer Science, or Statistics degree preferred
