Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences operations. The ideal candidate will manage cross‑functional teams, drive digital transformation, and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, GxP). This role is responsible for delivering projects that enhance business systems, data integrity, and operational efficiency in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver IT projects across clinical, commercial, R&D, or manufacturing domains within pharma/life sciences. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders from IT, QA, regulatory, and scientific teams to define requirements and manage expectations. Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant regulations (FDA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and support validation activities. Manage risk, change, and incident/problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate user acceptance testing, training, and documentation for new systems or upgrades. Support process improvements and the adoption of best practices in IT service management (ITIL, Agile, Waterfall). Provide technical oversight for infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related field. 4+ years of IT project management experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences company. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, GxP, validation, 21 CFR Part 11). Experience with business systems (ERP, LIMS, CRM, clinical trial platforms) and supporting validation for regulatory purposes. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.) is a plus. Compensation
