As a Field Sales Market Leader for the Startup Sales organization in the Bay Area, you will build and manage a team of Field Sales Leaders and Account Executives focused on AI Startups and Scale ups to acquire new customers at scale to Google Cloud. You will design and execute the strategy for customer adoption and growth of Google Cloud services and solutions for Startups. You will lead your team to drive and accelerate consumption and usage of Google Cloud technologies with well funded, venture backed startups that require bespoke and focused engagement to adopt Google Cloud as their platform of choice. You will participate actively in all aspects of building the business, including attainment of assigned objectives, business planning, ecosystem influence, demand generation, account engagement, and acquisition/account-based marketing activities. You will act as the primary market ambassador for Google Cloud in the startup ecosystem.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Lead and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies in the Bay Area with a focus on Early and Late-stage, Venture Capital (VC) backed startups; work with Customer Engineering, Marketing, Demand Generation, Solutions, Product and Engineering teams to produce a focused value proposition and sales GTM.
Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term direction; act as an advisor to customers.
Lead a team of Field Sales Leaders and Account Executives to deliver business growth, and grow the acquisition of new Startup customers. Create and implement strategies that guide our business to drive business growth, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Act as a visible and vocal spokesperson inside and outside Google Cloud, participate in startup ecosystem events and programs to increase the awareness and understanding of Google Cloud in the Bay Area startup ecosystem.
